We help you be your best

Have you ever heard of the 10,000-hour rule? Successful people have adhered to it at least as long as they’ve invested in a particular subject matter before becoming the best experts in the world in their fields. We’d like to contribute to your success, too – and not just a few hours: Roland Berger will back you up with seminars as well as a whole range of development activities on your path to being the best you can possibly be.

Courses

You never stop learning

A comprehensive training program advances you both professionally and personally. Our program includes more than 50 different seminars for all career levels and all colleagues worldwide. You develop further skills that are crucial for a consultant. How do I host a workshop? How do I resolve conflicts constructively? How do I give my presentations the final touch? You also have the opportunity to broaden your technical skills from corporate finance, HR and product development to supply chain management. We also attach great importance to developing your leadership skills from the very beginning. New colleagues with degrees in humanities, engineering or natural sciences go through a basic training in business administration especially designed for them.

All seminars feature top-notch speakers and facilitators: experienced Roland Berger staff, renowned academics and outstanding coaches. And with Roland Berger School of Strategy and Economics, we strengthen our investment in your development even further.

MBA

International network, outstanding development

An MBA gives you the opportunity to work with outstanding talent from around the world in a team and to think from new angles. This experience is extremely valuable for working in interdisciplinary consulting teams with colleagues and clients from many different countries. You'll come back to us with fresh ideas, and can share new tools and techniques with your team.

Field Report Cláudio Gonçalves

Lisbon Office

After three years at Roland Berger, I decided to enroll in an MBA program to enhance my business experience and increase my exposure to multicultural perspectives, relevant global industry expertise and a vast international network.

The completeness of the MBA program at Columbia was the reason I chose to go there. The school offers excellent courses focused on entrepreneurship and finance as well as a high percentage of international students. It also promotes the confluence of cultures throughout the learning experience. Finally, its location, New York City, is not only one of the most important global financial centers but also a cultural powerhouse with intellectual dynamos from all over the world.

Roland Berger supported me in many ways throughout the application process. The company offered me financial sponsorship and a strong network of business professionals from whom I received the guidance and support that would later enrich my experience at Columbia.

My MBA experience has heightened my ability to identify key issues in the strategic agendas of CEOs, develop new insights into industries and to most effectively manage teams of highly competent professionals by motivating them and helping them surpass their own goals.

If you want to work abroad for a while, we've got just the thing for you!

Challenge Club

Nothing wrong with being elite

The term "meritocracy" is derived from "merit" or "earn", in the sense that someone has earned or deserved something through achievement. This is the spirit of our Challenge Club. Here you will find colleagues from around the world who have achieved outstanding results and have thus been recognized for their accomplishments. Read what members of the Challenge Club have to say.

Alina Florean

For me personally, the Challenge Club really symbolizes the Roland Berger values of partnership and excellence. And as far as the partnership idea, the Challenge Club offers the opportunity to meet some of the most talented people in the company. In a relaxed atmosphere, we exchange ideas and build relationships that stay intact for my whole career. At the same time, the club promotes individual coaching and development measures targeted at optimizing my potential. This has helped me to recognize my strengths and to continue to grow. I am utterly pleased that my company offers this exclusive opportunity and encourages my personal growth.

Experience Report Luz Matres Santos

What's Roland Berger's most important asset? People! This is because consulting is based entirely on people, their ideas and their implementation. The Challenge Club is a perfect example in this respect. The multicultural environment inspired me to approach an issue from many different perspectives, develop innovative ideas and to overcome my own limits. As a member of the Challenge Club, I have the opportunity to build an international network of many colleagues and make good friends outside of daily business. I have learned from my colleagues that talent is very important, but strong cohesion and mutual support are what make a team successful! The Challenge Club helps you to understand group dynamics and creates a cooperative atmosphere that enables individuals to perform their best.
