After successfully completing my MBA at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, I felt ready for new challenges. I had already worked at a large technology consulting firm for several years and wanted to try something new. For my next career step, it was important for me to gain international experience to improve my leadership skills and have fun, too. Roland Berger offered me the opportunity to achieve all these goals. I quickly realized that I had made the right decision with Roland Berger. I spent the first months of a "make-or-buy" strategy project for an American consumer goods manufacturer in China and headed a global study on the future of the manufacturing industry in Asia. For my personal development, I took part in several days of training in Europe. It wasn't all hard work – as part of one corporate event, we all went skiing in Austria.
